Nabucco Island Resort

A diver’s dream!

All about the island

Beautifully situated off the east coast of Borneo, in the Sulawesi Sea, we are pleased to offer eight double bungalows and one single bungalow in the traditional Indonesian style. Around the island are a few little beaches where visitors can swim and sunbathe during high tide. The exotic resort combines the magic of nature and a family atmosphere.

All about diving

Maratua Atoll: The dive sites around Nabucco are captivating due to their biodiversity and the nutrient rich currents coming from the Pacific Ocean. Most dive sites consist of an intact reef roof and drop offs. Our highlight, “the Channel”, also well known as “Big Fish Country”, is one of the best dive sites in Borneo. Due to the strong currents you can see a startling array of pelagic fish.

Each spacious waterfront bungalow features a large roofed terrace with lazy chairs and direct access to the beach. Two of the bungalows are nestled in a tropical garden, surrounded by coconut trees and lush vegetation. All rooms have air conditioning or a fan, mini-bar, mosquito net, open bathroom with shower/WC, as well as hot and cold water.
